True colours

After the make up! The Room 4 Cowgirls ready for the hoe down. Excitement builds before the show.

We performed on stage for our families for three nights in a row. The lights were bright and we were nervous but everyone clapped and cheered. The audience loved our dancing.

True Colours

Yeeha! Room 4 Cowboys wait for the show to get on the road, guns at the ready.
Our whole school performed in our production called True Colours. The script was written by teachers at our school and all 277 children in our school danced and sang on stage. The story told how a singer was guided by Michael Jacksons' spirit, on a journey through a variety of musical genres, to find her own true musical style and become a star. Our class were singing and dancing in the country scene.

Japanese Students Visit Room 4

Today we had a surprise visit from a group of Japanese Students. One of them was a friend of Hikaru, who worked in our school during the first term this year.
The students taught us how to write words and our names using Japanese calligraphy. We used a brush and thin black paint to carefully copy marks onto white paper. The words looked like beautiful patterns.
